Public sector Defence equipment maker Bharat Electronics today reported a big jump in its order book at Rs 33,806 crore.
The electronics major also obtained an export order at USD 105.29million as on January 1, 2017. The major orders acquired during Q3were advanced landing ground communication terminal, ship-bornesignals intelligence system, voter verified paper audit trail andannual maintenance contract for Rukmani system, the company release said.
The order book on export book for third quarter ending December31, stood at USD 13.69 million.
Company spokesperson said major supplies bagged by the companywere radio relay frequency (LB), hand held thermal imager with laserrange finder, fire control systems, Akash Weapon System (for Army),3D tactical control radar, L70 gun upgrade and weapon locating radar.
He said the company was bullish on securing major orders duringthe fourth quarter, like Akash Missile System (7 Sqdn), long rangesurface to air missile, Samyukta upgrade, mobile cellularcommunication system and L-Band Tropo upgrade all meant for defence forces.
