Central Govt. Will Surely Be Looking Into Declassified Documents On Netaji : Nirmala Sitharaman

Central Government will surely be looking into the declassified documents on Netaji Subash Chandra Bose, BJP spokesperson and Minister of State (independent charge) for Commerce and Industry Nirmala Sitharaman announced today.

At a news conference at the party headquarters here, she said she will be going to speak to Minister for Home Affairs Rajnath Singh and Defence minister Manohar Parrikar on the issue.

She was referring to the book authored by Anuj Dhar about snooping on close family members of Netaji. Snooping is in the DNA of Congress, alleged Ms Sitharaman .

Criticising the Congress on snooping on a leader like Netaji and his family , she said the party has a long history of snooping.

Snooping on former finance minister and present President Pranab Mukherjee in 2010-11 was also known to all, she added.

Referring to the books disclosure, she said, the writer has given much details , which has shown that close family members of the Bose family was under the scanner. . Research on Netaji has proved that snooping was done by the then prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru encouraged by the then IB chief M K Dhar. It carried on till 1968 .

The BJP leader, sounding shocked at the snooping on a firebrand leader like Subash Bose and his family, said I certainly feel that snooping is part of the Congress DNA, and further alleged that in 2010-11 the then finance ministers office was put under scanner on the pretext of putting chewing-gum .
