Complaint against Mani Shankar Aiyar forwarded to Crime Branch

14 February, New Delhi

The Nizamuddin Police Station of the National Capital has forwarded , the complaint of senior BJP leader and advocate Ajay Aggarwal for registering an FIR against suspended Congress leader and former Minister Mani Shankar Aiyar, to the Crime Branch for further investigation on Wednesday.

Aggarwal in a statement said, the earlier complaint filed by him against Aiyar on December 25 last year, has also been forwarded to the crime Branch for further investigation.

Fiercely reacting to the Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar’s controversial ‘I love Pakistan’ remark, Aggarwal has filed an FIR with the Delhi police against Aiyar seeking his arrest. Aiyar, who was suspended by the Congress late last year after his ‘neech’ slur against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, again stirred a row, saying in Karachi “I receive much more hatred in India than the love I receive in Pakistan. I am really happy to be here.”The Congress leader on the same day said he believed in the Pakistani people as they clapped for him because he spoke of peace.
