A special court Wednesday directed the CBI to give to the Delhi government, photocopies of documents it seized in a raid on the Delhi Secretariat office of Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister.
The CBI had raided Principal Secretary Rajendra Kumar’s office in Delhi Secretariat in connection with an alleged corruption case on December 15th. Special CBI judge Vinod Kumar of the Patiala House Court said the court has instructed CBI that the documents be handed over by next Monday, that is, December 28th.
It also fixed hearing on the issue of possible action against CBI officials for January 6. The Delhi government had approached the court, seeking release of the documents.
It also demanded stringent action against CBI officials over the seizures since it had paralysed the government.
