The Governor in a telephonic talk said here today that there was no constitutional crisis in the SP Government hence there was no question if his intervention. “I am watching the situation and will act as per the requirement,” he said, while adding that the Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has sent information about sacking of four ministers only.

On the other hand , SP general Secretary and Rajya Sabha member Naresh Agarwal said that ouster of Ram Gopal was not the solution of the crisis and the charges made against him were not true.

“How can the party be strengthened when you expel a leader who has served the party with all dedication since its inception,” he told reporters here. He demanded that a meeting of the Samajwadi Party should be convened immediately to discuss the reason behind the dispute and to get a solution.

“The party went on to expel Ram Gopal even as the real person behind the dispute was not even touched and the concern of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav was not addressed,” he said with a veiled attack on Amar Singh.
