The Haryana Government has ordered a CBI probe regarding the alleged irregularities in the allotment of industrial plots in Panchkula during the previous Congress government’s regime led by former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda.
The move came after the State Vigilance Department found alleged irregularities in the allotments.
“Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has recommended a CBI probe for further inquiry,” OSD to the Chief Minister Jawahar Yadav said here Saturday.
In May, the BJP government had ordered a Vigilance inquiry into the allotment of the industrial plots by previous Bhupinder Singh Hooda-led Congress government in Industrial Estate, Panchkula in December 2011 to the alleged “undeserving candidates”.
