Allahabad High Court has ordered CBI inquiry into illegal mining in Uttar Pradesh.

Taking strict note of the issue, the Court asked CBI to submit it’s preliminary report within 6 weeks in respect of illegal mining in the entire state and involvement of officials.

The Bench comprising Acting Chief Justice VK Shukla and Justice MC Tripathi passed this order while hearing PILs filed by Vijay Kumar Dwivedi and several others.
