President Ram Nath Kovind to visit Odisha On March 17

President Ram Nath Kovind is arriving here on March 17on a two day visit to the state.

As per the tentative programme, the President would arrive at Bhubaneswar on March 17 and would dedicate the Anand Bhwan Museum and Learning Center at Tulasipur Cuttack to the people of the state.

On the same day  Kovind is scheduled to grace the Foundation Day Celebration of National Law University Cuttack.

On the next day, the President is scheduled to inaugurate the Centenary Celebration of Rashtriya Sanskirt Sansthan at Puri.

Detail programme about the visit of the programme is awaited from Presidents’ Secretariat.

A high level meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi to chalk out preparation for the smooth visit of the President.

The issues relating to Air Craft, guard of honor, security arrangements, accommodation, carcade arrangements, transport arrangements, medical and health care for the VVIP party, uninterrupted power supply, barricading, construction of dais were discussed in the meeting.

The meeting decided to set up a specific control room in Home Department under the charges of Special Secretary Home ( Protocol) for coordination of the entire programme.
