Union Home minister Rajnath Singh Friday said Indian forces will not fire the first bullet along the border. A delegation of Pakistan rangers delegation today met the Home Minister in New Delhi.
Singh also said Pakistan must ensure that terrorists do not infiltrate into India from its territory. He said both the countries should be united in controlling terrorism.
The Border Security Force and Pakistan Rangers are holding talks in New Delhi to reduce tension along the international border. Yesterday, BSF Director General DK Pathak said he was satisfied with the outcome of the meeting . On the sidelines of a function, Mr Pathak said the talks were cordial, pragmatic and forward-looking.
Director General of Border Security Force D K Pathak said the talks with his Pakistani counterpart Major General Umar Farooq Burki, were very productive and the disputes have been resolved .
He said, it is due to positivity that the talks have been extended and the two sides will meet today also to finalise the nitty gritty of the mechanism.
