Mumbai Indians defeated Royal Challengers Bengalore by 4 wickets with 7 balls remaining in an Indian Premier League cricket match played in Bengaluru Friday.

Chasing a victory target of 143 set by the Royal Challengers Bengalore, Mumbai Indians scored 145 for 6.
Earlier, Mumbai Indians opting to bowl, restricted Royal Challengers to 142 for 5. Virat Kohli returned to action after close to a month recuperating from a shoulder injury to lead the Royal Challengers.

In the 2nd game of the day, Gujarat Lions will take on Rising Pune Super Giants in Rajkot. Gujrat Lions won the toss and chose to bowl.
