Over 2000 Vehicles Stranded On Srinagar-Jammu National Highway Due To Massive Landslides

More than 5 thousand people continue to remain stranded at various places on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway for the second consecutive day Tuesday after the surface link connecting the Valley with the rest of the country remained closed.

According to traffic police sources, more than 2,000 vehicles, most of them passenger vehicles, continue to be stranded on the 300-km long national highway.

The highway has suffered a lot of damage due to massive landslides that were triggered by heavy rain and snowfall.
