The Prime Minister Mr. Narender Modi arrived in Hannover, Germany on the second leg of three-nations tour this evening.
He held meeting with some top businessmen of the country .including CEOs of the Deutsche Bank, Thyeeen Krupp, BMW AG, basf, Hannover -Ruck and Linde AG in Hannover.
Modi is expected to know from the CEOs how to promote more investments in India and promote the vision of Make in India.
In another function, the Prime Minister presented a Madhubani painting to the Lord Mayor of Hannover. Created by famous Madhubani artist Bauvva Devi, it depicts 7 stages of life. Modi also wrote in the official book on his visit to City Hall,the Centre of Hanover.
Speaking on the occasion Modi said India wants to move ahead economically and industrially while carrying along its rich cultural heritage.
Modi said that India is interested in Germany’s strength in the field of manufacturing and skill development.
Earlier, the Lord Mayor of Hannover appreciated India’s democracy and said that there are about 800 Indians who are studying in technology and medicinal plantation which he said is an area of excellence for the Germans.
On his arrival at Hannover, Modi was given a warm welcome by the Indian community at the hotel where he is staying. He was received by the German Ambassador in India and other top official s of the German Foreign office.
Modi will jointly Inaugurate with the German Chancellor the world’s biggest Trade fair in which India is a partner country.
