Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP national president Amit Shah and the BJP central leadership for sending a common Odia like him again to Rajya Sabha.
Pradhan said this while filing his nomination for Rajya Sabha seat at Bhopal from Madhya Pradesh.
Pradhan is the first ever Odia to be elected to Rajya Sabha from outside Odisha. He was first elected to the Upper House from Bihar and now seeking election from Madhya Pradesh.
The Union Minister said he has been inspired to work with more commitment with the blessings of Lord Jagannath.
Thanking Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivaraj Singh Chouhan, Pradhan said he had the opportunity to serve the people of Madhya Pradesh.
After elected from Madhya Pradesh, Pradhan said he would get an opportunity to work for the people of the state more closely.
He said under the Prime Minister’s Ujjala Yojna, LPG has reached the houses of 32 lakh poor sisters.
Pradhan who also holds the portfolio of Skill Development said massive arrangement has also been made for the skill development of the youths of Madhya Pradesh.
