Inviting Indian industry to invest in her country, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today said she is willing to open more trade channels with India, widen footprint of Border Haats and open up routes that were closed during the 1965 war.
“To facilitate further investments, a One Stop Service Act is currently being finalised. I urge Indian investors to consider possible investments in Bangladesh in infrastructure projects, power and energy, food and agro processing, manufacturing and transport sectors,” Ms Hasina said at a meeting organised by the business association here.
Ms Hasina is on a four-day visit to India and has urged the Indian industries to invest in Bangladesh’s infrastructure projects, power and energy, transport, manufacturing, food and agricultural processing sectors.She also called upon to fight jointly against poverty for a better life of people.
