Shoe hurled at Kejriwal in Rohtak

01 January, Rohtak

A shoe was hurled at Delhi chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal here today during a party’s rally against demonetisation.

It fell far short of the stage. The man, identified as Vikas Kumar of Dadri district, was caught by AAP supporters, who brutally beat him up. Kumar is being interrogated by Police which detained him after the incident.

Kejriwal blamed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the shoe attack.”I said Modiji is a coward. Today some Modi supporters hurled a shoe at me. Modiji, we can also do this but our cultural values don’t permit us to do this,” Kejriwal tweeted.

“I will keep on exposing the truth behind demonetisation scam and the Sahara-Birla bribery despite your CBI raid or shoe attack on me,” Kejriwal added.
