Pre-monsoon showers have lashed most parts of Kerala and Lakshadweep during the last three days. Weatherman said, this will continue till Thursday when the South-West monsoon is almost likely to hit Kerala.
The Met Department has warned that rains coupled with thunder storm are likely in Kerala in the coming days.
Strong winds from South Westerly direction at a speed occasionally reaching 45-55 kilometer/hour are likely along and off Kerala coasts and over Lakshadweep area during next 24 hours.
Fishermen have been warned against venturing into the sea.
