The death toll due to the H1N1 virus in Maharashtra has risen to 445 with 3 more patients succumbing to the disease, in the last 24 hours.
The overall percentage of the disease is decreasing across the state.
According to the State Health Department, 18 new patients across the state have tested positive for H1N1 in last 24 hours taking the total number of swine flu affected cases in the state to 4892. 1898 cases are reported from Mumbai, 576 cases are from Nagpur, and 1214 from Pune.
Meanwhile, 13 more swine flu positive patients have been treated successfully and discharged from various hospitals in the state, thus the total number of patients treated successfully till date since January this year stands at 4218.
