Vowing zero tolerance against corruption, Bihar DeputyChief Tejaswi Prasad Yadav Monday gave a clear message to the officials of road construction department that anyone involved in corruption practices would not be spared..
Yadav, soon after taking over the charge of road construction department, told media persons that the Grand Alliance was voted to power with huge mandate and it was time for the government to serve the people with sincerity and not to bask in glory.
” I will regularly meet senior officers of government to procure information about the ongoing projects”, the Deputy Chief Minister said, adding that steps would be taken to arrange fund for projects which could not take off for want of fund.
Yadav sought to give a strong message that corruption would not be tolerated under any circumstances. Those found in such practices would have to face the music, he thundered.
A host of well wishers and senior officials greeted Yadav on his assuming the charge of the department. Apart from road construction department, he has also been given the charge of Building Construction, Backwards and Extremely Backwards welfare departments.
