Uttar Pradesh government today announced to link land records with Aadhar Cards. Talking to media persons this evening at Lucknow on the completion of six months of his tenure, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, the government has taken this decision to check the benaami land transfer and frauds in land sell deeds.
Speaking about the achievements of his government during last six months, he said, Uttar Pradesh has recorded maximum revenue collections during last month after implementation of GST. He said, 33 percent increase has been registered in revenue collection.
Adityanath said that above one lakh 53 thousand acres of land have been released from clutches of land mafias and illegal properties of value of 35 crore rupees of land mafias have been seized. The Chief Minister said, his government will launch a systematic drive which will help them to retrieve 1000 hectares of land which have been in grips of land mafias since years.
Adityanath said, the State government has decided to set up minimum one Agriculture Science Centre in every district and 20 new centres will be set up during current financial year. He said, these centres will be helpful to farmers to increase their agro income.
He said that for the welfare of farmers, government has started the system to provide them tube wells and solar pumps. He said, during last six months of his government there has not been a single incident of riot in the state. He said, during previous governments, the State had seen several cases of riots. The Chief Minister said, his government has instilled sense of confidence in the people and improvement in law and order has attracted investment in the State.
