Yog Guru Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Atta noodles have again found itself in the soup, when a resident of Narwana, Haryana today alleged that some worms were found in the Ramdev backed noodles.
Coming close on the heels of Food Safety and Regulatory Authority of India (FSSAI) controversy, when its Chairman Ashish Bahuguna had said, “They have got no permission from authorities to sell noodles”.
Vinod Kumar said he had bought Ramdev Maggi from Savdeshi Kendra last evening, and alleged that when he cooked it today he found some worms in it.
When Vinod contacted retailer to complain him about the incident the Sanchalak informed complainant that supply of Ramdev noodles came directly from the company and said that he was not responsible for this incident.Kumar ”repeatedly” tried to lodge his complaint with the company, but to no avail.Baba Ramdev had recently launched his noodles after a ban was imposed on Nestle Maggi, however it was revoked later on.
