Per capita Income of Odisha increases by 9.2 per cent in 2025-26 : Odisha Economic Survey Report

The real economic growth is estimated at 7.9 per cent in 2025-26 which is higher than preceding year growth of 7.2 per cent in 2024-25, This growth is also higher than all India average growth rate of 7.4 per cent, according to the Odisha Economic Survey Report.
The Survey report was placed in the budget session of Odisha Assembly on Thursday.
As of per estimated capita income of Odisha , the report said the per capita income has increased by 9.2 per cent to reach INR 1,86,761 in 2025-26 , while per capita income at All India Level has gone up by 6.9 per cent .
Odisha’s rapid growth is translating into faster convergence of per capita income will national level, repot said.
Agriculture and allied sector contributes 19.6 per cent to the state economy during 25-26 which is higher than All India level of 16.8 per cent. Agriculture and allied sector have registered a robust growth rate of 5.3 per cent in 2025-26 against 3.1 percent at All India level , it said and added that the agriculture sector is growth on an average higher than India.
Regarding ;food grain production in Odisha , the report said it has reached a record high of 150.5 lakh MT in 2024-25 from 143.04 lakh MT in 2023-24,reflescting 5.2 per cent growth rate.
