BJP reduced to dirt by AAP , result is a warning to the Delhi” lords” : Shiv Sena

BJP’s ally Shiv Sena has again taken a dig at the party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi through its mouthpiece ‘Saamna’ over the Delhi election drubbing.

Criticizing Modi, Saamna came with the editorial questioning ‘If this isn’t his defeat, then whose is it’ The editorial continued its attack by saying that the Delhi public used the broom to sweep out BJP.

Tuesday , the Shiv Sena President had virtually targeted the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and termed the sweeping AAP win in Delhi a ‘tsunami’ and congratulated AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal for the historic victory.

He said, the Aam Aadmi Party’s astounding victory proved once again that people of the country should not be taken for granted at any time. Thackeray noted that people are feeling frustrated now.

This is a warning by Delhiites to the Delhi ‘lords’. Delhiites have done what they felt right without succumbing to any kind of lures or pressures.
To a question, Thackeray readily endorsed social crusader Anna Hazare’s statement that the Delhi results were a debacle for Modi.

He further agreed with Hazare’s view that this is a defeat for Modi, not Bedi. The Sena chief, an ally of the BJP-led government in Maharashtra, said the Delhi outcome was not merely a reversal of the verdict of the Lok Sabha election in the capital but went much beyond.

Not accepting the contention blaming BJP’s Chief Ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi for BJP rout , the Saamna said all BJP leaders labeled the AAP leader as “bhaagoda” during the campaign , but entire Delhi solidly supported Kejriwal.

Modi now lives in Delhi , but his “brahmastra” failed to work at such close quarters , even Amit Shah’s magic did not work, the Sena said , in a direct attack on the two BJP bigwigs.
