Winter Session Of Parliament From 26th Nov To 23rd Dec

The Winter Session of Parliament will commence from 26th of this month. Sources said, the session will continue till 23rd of December.
The decision was taken by the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs Monday afternoon.
Speaking to reporters in New Delhi, Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Venkaiah Naidu said, that first two days of the session will be devoted to special discussion on the Constitution.
It was 26th of November 1949 when the Constitution was adopted by the Constituent Assembly.
26th also happens to be birth anniversary of Dr B R Ambedkar, Chairperson of the drafting committee.
Both the Houses of Parliament will hold special sessions on 26th and 27th November to celebrate the Constitution and birth anniversary of Dr Ambedakar.
Replying to a question, Mr Naidu said, several key legislation including GST bill and Real Estate Bill are pending and the government will reach out to opposition for passage of these bills.
