Bandhan Bank Opens Country’s 566th Branch In Bhubaneswar

RBI Deputy Governor Harun Rashid Khan Monday unveiled Bandhan Bank’s first branch in Bhubaneswar, and 566th across the country.

Bandhan Bank commenced its operations on August 23, 2015, with 501 branches, 2,022 Door step Service Centres and 50 ATMs across 24 Indian states.

Bandhan is the first bank to be set up in eastern part of India after Independence.

Currently, Bandhan Bank operates across 27 Indian states through a network of 566 branches and 160 ATMs, being served by more than 19,500 employees.

Since its launch, the bank has collected deposits over Rs. 2,500 crore.

It started with a loan book of around Rs 10,500 crore. The plan is to have 632 branches and 250 ATMs by the end of fiscal year 2015-16.

With the opening of the Bhubaneswar branch, Bandhan Bank has 15 branches operational across eight districts in Odisha including Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Jajpur, Khordha and Puri. The location of the latest branch is: Plot No. 10, Satya Nagar, Janpath, Bhubaneswar 751007.
