PM Modi Calls For Global Resolve ,Strategies For Combating Terrorism

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Sunday called for global resolve and strategies for combating terrorism without balancing against political considerations.

Making remarks in tenth East Asia Summit held in Kuala Lumpur he said terrorism is no longer a peripheral issue of the region as its shadows stretch across the globe in terms of recruitment and choice of targets.

He said no country should support terrorism by not showing distinction between groups, not giving funds, not giving access to arms. He suggested that the whole world should come together at the Climate Change summit to be held in Paris to send a strong message that the world will not retreat in the face of terror.

He laid emphasis on the need for the East Asia to support the evaluation of inclusive, balanced, transparent and open regional architecture for security and cooperation, freedom of navigation and over flight and unimpeded commerce under the international laws beside closer cooperation on cyber security.
