Home Ministry –NSDC to undertake Spl. recruitment drive in Kupwara J&K from Feb 18

Home Ministry and the National Skill Development Corporation will undertake a special recruitment drive in Kupwara area of Jammu and Kashmir from tomorrow -Wednesday.

Over 10 corporates across the country will recruits youth during the two-day recruitment drive. An official release said that the corporates from various sectors including finance, tourism, human resource, construction, automation and information technology will participate in the drive.

It also said that eight more such drives are planned in the state in the next two months to cover the far flung areas including Samba, Sopore, Baramulla, Kathua, Reasi and Doda.

The scheme is based on the recommendations of the Rangarajan Committee for setting up a progressive programme of training of the youth of Jammu and Kashmir by the corporate sector in different states of the country and making the youth employable.

Three drives have already been conducted in Srinagar, Jammu and Udhampur. These drives have shown a tremendous response from the students.
