Bihar Power tussle : BJP boycotts All party Meeting called by Speaker

In Bihar, Bharatiya Janata Party Wednesday boycotted the all party meeting convened by assembly Speaker Uday Narain Choudhary alleging partisan attitude of Speaker.
Leader of Opposition Nand Kishore Yadav said in Patna a short while ago that the speaker is acting on the behest of JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar.
The Speaker has called the meeting to decide on various issues including the demand by the Nitish Kumar group of JD(U) to be identified as the main opposition party ahead of the crucial budget session.
The Speaker is also likely discuss the sitting arrangements and other details for February 20, when Jitan Ram Manjhi’s government will seek a trust vote.
Meanwhile , Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi has convened a cabinet meeting this afternoon, notwithstanding the Patna High court order restraining him from taking any major policy decisions till tomorrow- Thursday.
The court has directed Chief Minister to confine its decision to routine matters only. Meanwhile, BJP and RJD have also called meeting of their legislators today to discuss prevailing political situation in the state.
BJP is likely to take a formal decision on supporting Manjhi government.
