Scientist M Nair Rajeevan Appointed Earth Sciences Secretary

Distinguished Scientist M Nair Rajeevan was Saturday appointed as Secretary of Union Ministry of Earth Sciences.

54-year-old Rajeevan has earlier served in renowned institutions like Tata Institute of Fundamental Research and Indian Meteorological Department.

Prior to appointment as Earth Sciences Secretary, he was working as Director of Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology, Pune.
