400 Ceasefire Violations By Pakistan Till November: MoS Defence

There have been 400 violations of bilateral ceasefire with India by Pakistan till November this year, the Rajya Sabha was informed Tuesday.

In a written reply, Minister of State for Defence Rao Inderjit Singh said, ”The number of ceasefire violations along Line of Control (LC) and International Border (IB) under the operational control of Border Security Force (BSF) is 249 till November 30. While, 151 violations were recorded on the LOC which is guarded by the Army.”

This year, till November 30, six army personnel have been killed, he said.

In 2014, 13 civilians and four soldiers died, while in 2013, 10 soldiers were killed.
