BJP hits out at Congress for its proposed protest rally on Land Acquisition Ordinance

BJP Friday hit out at Congress over its protest on the land acquisition ordinance issue, saying the opposition party’s stir is politically-motivated.

In a statement, party Secretary Shrikant Sharma said that the Congress is frustrated over its electoral losses and is now trying to raise farmers’ issues only to revive its political fortunes.

He alleged that the party which is a symbol of mis-governance and corruption, is making a political issue of the steps taken by the NDA government in the interest of farmers.

He also alleged that it is the Congress and its ally regional parties which had made the land acquisition law exploitative. The Congress has planned to stage a protest against the land ordinance on the 25th of this month at Jantar Mantar in Delhi.
