Pradhan Directs OMC To Set Up Two Bottling Plants In Western Odisha

Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan has directed to set up two bottling plants in western odisha to meet the LPG requirement of the consumers.
Pradhan, who reviewed LPG availability, and its coverage and also the status of LPG infrastructure here Tuesday, gave this direction to the Oil Marketing Companies(OMC).
Official sources said during the current financial year nearly 7.5 Lakh new connection of LPG were given in the state by the OMCs.
Pradhan directed to make efforts to add 40 lakh new consumers by 2019. He also reviewed current status of various infrastructure projects related to other petroleum products being undertaken by the OMCs in the state.
The meeting was attended by the senior officials of the ministry and all the three OMC.
