Bollywood Film On Mathematician S Ramanujan Is Ready For Release

‘The Man who Knew Infinity’ a Hollywood film onachievements of world famous Indian mathematician SrinivasaRamanujan is ready for screening across the world.

Noble Laureate Manjul Bhargav, who is behind making the film–‘The Man Who Knew Infinity: A Life of the Genius Ramanujan’ is basedon the biography of Srinivasa Ramanujan written in 1991 by RobertKanigel and published by Washington Square Press.

Mr Manjul Bhargav who studied the biography and wanted in theform of film besides he could apprise the Hollywood Director andProducer in this behalf. Ramanujan and his mathematics achievementsin the Indian history have not known much about him not only inIndia but across the world and his biography has enormous treasure.

Manjul Bhargav, was here to participate in the 103rd IndianScience Congress said that the shooting of film completed andexpected to be released during April or May this year.

The film was directed by Matt Brown and produced by veteranEdward Pressman. the film stars Dev Patel, Jeremy Irons, DevikaBhise, Jeremy Northam, Stephen Fry and Toby Jones.

The shooting was held in Raamanjuns birth place Kumbakonam,Chennai costal areas and Cambridge University campus and this is thefirst film in the Hollywood on Indian Mathematician, he claimed
