Pakistan PM Reiterates Commitment To Cooperate With India On Investigating Pathankot Attack

Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Friday held a second high-level meeting, in as many days, and reiterated his country’s commitment to cooperate with India on investigating the Pathankot air base terror attack.

According to PTI, the meeting was attended by the army chief, the Director General ISI among others.

A statement issued after the meeting, says Pakistan is “reviewing progress” on the leads provided by India which has sought “firm and immediate action” against the terrorists behind the attack on the Pathankot air base.

The meeting also expressed Pakistan’s condemnation of this incident.

A PTI report quoting pak daily Nation said Nawaz Sharif chaired a high-level meeting yesterday and ordered a probe by its Intelligence Bureau into the leads provided by India .
