PM Says Satisfied With Security Forces’ Response To Pathankot Attack

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Saturday expressed satisfaction over the response of thesecurity agencies to the outrageous attack on the Pathankot airbase carried out by Pakistani terrorists.

“Noted with satisfaction the decision-making & its execution, the considerations that went into our tactical response, the Prime Minister tweeted after he visited the airbase.For a first-hand assessment of the situation in the aftermath of the attack in which seven security personnel were martyred and six terrorists were gunned down.

Earlier, he was briefed by senior officers at the India Air Force base.

“Visited Pathankot air base today. Had a detailed briefing from senior leadership of Army, Air Force, NSG & BSF, the Prime Minister said in another tweet.

He was accompanied by National Security Adviser Ajit Doval, three Services Chief and senior military and civil officials.
