SBI To Launch Credit-Engine For Snapdeal Suppliers

Largest lender State Bank of India (SBI) is all set to launch a credit-engine for Snapdeal supplier, that will provide loans without any human intervention.

”On 15th of this month we are now going to switch on a credit-engine for suppliers of Snapdeal. Snapdeal has more than 50 thousand suppliers. So we have now created a credit engine that is going to look at the data that snapdeal can give us, ” SBI chairman Arundhati Bhattacharya said.

Mrs Bhattacharya said everything would happen without any human intervention, unless there is a decision to be made, unless its a borderline case, in which it comes back for human intervention.

She said that otherwise the program takes care of it and ”we come to know it only after everything has been done”. She said, it will happen soon. We are trying that model out on 15th and supposed to be switching that on
