Basant Panda New Odisha BJP President

Nuapada BJP MLA and Legislative party leader in the State Assembly Basant Panda was Thursday elected as the president of the BJP Odisha unit unanimously.

Panda was the only candidate to file nomination for the top party post election for which was held here today.

Party election officer Rajkishore Das announced the name of Panda as the partys state President after the deadline for the nomination ended at 1030 hours this morning.

Several senior party leaders including Odisha Party in-charge Arun Singh, Central Party Observer for the election Saroj Pandey, Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan, former state party president K V Singhdeo, Biswabhusan Harichandan, Suresh Pujari congratulated Panda after he was declared as party president.BM
