Mamata’s entourage member to Dhaka Sibaji Panja arrested on charges of financial irregularities

Sibaji Panja, a member of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s entourage coming from Dhaka arrested in Kolkata on charges of financial irregularities.

Panja was detained by the Immigration Department officials at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata last night, after his return from Bangladesh with the West Bengal Chief Minister.

The Commissioner of Vidhan Nagar Commissionerate, Javed Shamim said that Delhi Police had issued look out notice against Panja in connection with the scam on the 19th of this month and accordingly, all airports of the country and the Immigration Department were alerted. He was produced before the Barrackpur Court.
