Odisha Police Rescue At Least 122 Missing Children

Odisha Police rescued at least 122 children including one girl child missing from Jammu and Kashmir in past fortnight as part of its Operation Smile-II programme launched on January 1, 2016.
The operation launched in the state with joint efforts of Odisha Police and Women and Child Development Department to rescue and rehabilitate the missing children.
Crime Branch Additional Director General B K Sharma said that the Smile-II operation will continue till end of this month.
However, he said the focus from today till January 31 will be outside the States like Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
