India-Pak to clash in men’s hockey final tomorrow

India will seek to redeem its defeat to Pakistan in the finals of last two South Asian Games when they take on the arch rivals for the title clash for men’s hockey at the ongoing 12th SAG here tomorrow.

The Indian men’s team had gone down to Pakistan 2-1 in a league match at the ongoing SAG and will go all out to regain lost glory when they clash at the M Tayebullah Hockey Stadium tomorrow evening.

Pakistan will seek to defend its title and win the SAG hockey for the third consecutive time and have fielded a much balanced side then the host.

India, fielding a second string team in the Games with a lot of junior players in it, has been struggling to find their form as a unit.

They have to be able to play more as a team to stop Pakistan from bagging the title for the third time on a trot.

Meanwhile, it is expected to be a sell-out match as all tickets have already been grabbed by sports lovers.

Security arrangements have also been tightened to ensure no untoward incident during or after the match tomorrow.
