Odisha Assembly budget session to commence from March 15

The Budget session of the Odisha Assembly will commence from March 15 and continue till May 20 next with a gap of 25 days.
State Assembly sources here said the session would be held in two phases. While the first phase of the Assembly would be held from March 15 to 31, the second phase would begin from April 26 to May 20 next.
The budget session will have altogether 33 working days.
The session will begin with the address of Governor S C Jamir on the opening day of the Assembly. The vote on account for April and May will be presented on March 18.The Appropriation bill for two months will be passed on March 31.
The finance minister will introduce the regular budget after assessing the states share in the central budget presented in Parliament.,sources said.BM
