Akshay welcomes decision to host National flag in central univs

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar Friday welcomed the decision to hoist the national flag in all central universities in the country.

The Human Resource Development ministry has directed all central universities in the country to fly the national flag.

The decision was taken yesterday at the meeting of vice chancellors of central universities chaired by HRD Minister Smriti Irani.

Totally with the decision of the tricolour being hoisted at all central universities and why not it brings out the best in us, inspires us to soar high, Akshay tweeted.

In recent years, Akshay has done several films like ‘Baby’,’Holiday’ and ‘Airlift’ that have patriotism as their theme.
