SC declines interim stay on Delhi HC directing telcos to compensate for call drops

Supreme Court Friday declined interim stay on Delhi High Court order today upholding TRAI’s decision making it mandatory for telecom operators to compensate subscribers for call drops.
The apex court heard the plea of two cellular operator associations challenging Delhi High Court order on call drops.
The Apex court asked the the Centre and Telecom Regulatory Authority of India to respond to Telecos appeal and posted the hearing for March 10.
