PM Modi on a day’s visit to Bihar Saturday

11 March, Patna

Amid a high security alert, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make his maiden visit to Bihar tomorrow after BJP-led NDA suffered an ignominious defeat in last year’s state assembly polls.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to attend the concluding function of the centenary celebration of Patna High Court and dedicate the Digha-Sonepur rail-cum-bridge to the nation besides opening the new rail bridge in Munger .

Elaborate security arrangements have been made for his visit to Patna and Vaishali districts in the wake of a high security alert following intrusion of terrorists in Gujarat recently.

Police personnel conducted a rehearsal between Patna Airport and Patna High Court during the day ahead of the PM`s visit. Personnel of Special Protection Group(SPG) have taken over security arrangement of Mr Modi.
