Rainbow hospital to invest Rs 250 cr: MD Dr.Kancharla

Hyderabad headquartered Rainbow Children’s Hospital , the leading Children’s healthcare chain in India , will invest Rs 250 crore in the next two- and-a- half years for setting up centres at Chennai, Visakhapatnam and New Delhi.

The hospital launched its new brand for perinatal services, ‘ BirthRight’ that offers comprehensive care for pregnant mothers -pre and post delivery, foetal medicine and neonatal care.

The support services ‘BirthRight’ (women services) at the existing Children’s hospital at Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Bengaluru, offer pregnancy counselling, child birth preparation classes, breast feeding support, post partum care, nutrition- dietary support- yoga and fitness counselling, Dr.Ramesh Kancharla, Managing Director, Rainbow Group of Hospitals told reporters on the sidelines of the launch of BirthRight. today.

Presently, the children’s hospital has 750-bed capacity at its Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Bengaluru centres. The capacity would be expanded to 500 in the next two- and- a- half years by launching a few more centres in Chennai, Vizag, New Delhi and one more in Hyderabad, he said.

Earlier, TRS MP, Ms K Kavita formally launched the ‘BirthRight by Ranbow, while a brochure on BirthRight was released by former Miss India/ Universe and actress Namrata.
