Railway Budget 2015-16 To Be Presented in Parliament Thursday

Railway Budget 2015-16, will be presented in Parliament tomorrow – Thursday by Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu.
The Railway Minister is also likely to present a White Paper in Parliament on finances and projects in the national transporter. This year’s rail budget involved people’s participation.
The Indian Railways had invited suggestions from the public for drafting the Budget.
Being the first full fledged Railway Budget of NDA Government, the general public has high expectations from the first full fledged Rail Budget of the Narendra Modi government.
With fare revision unlikely, citizens are expecting clean energy, modernisation of trains, passenger safety, and rail connectivity in North East states to be addressed in the Rail Budget.
This year’s Rail Budget is highly awaited , not just because it is the first full fledged Budget by the Modi government, but also because it will be the first budget for a new Railway Minister who has a reputation for reforms.
