DK Upadhyaya to take over as IG BSF, Jammu Frontier

IG BSF, Silchar in Assam, D K Upadhyaya will take over as new Inspector General, BSF, Jammu Frontier, official sources here today said.

The sources said Mr Upadhyay will replace Rakesh Sharma, who yesterday attained superannuation.

Sharma last evening also called on Governor N N Vohra and briefed him about an overall security situation in the area of his responsibility, particularly along the International Border in the Jammu region.
