Six Indian Women Among Forbes’ 50 “ Power BusinessWomen from Asia

Six Indian women entrepreneurs have been named by Forbes magazine as among the 50 ‘Power Businesswomen’ from Asia.

They include State Bank of India head Arundhati Bhattacharya and ICICI CEO Chanda Kochchar.

The magazine lauds them as “knocking down” walls in the traditional male bastions.

Akhila Srinivasan, Managing Director of Shriram Capital, Biocon chief Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Axis Bank CEO Shikha Sharma and Life Insurance Corporation of India MD Usha Sangwan are the other Indian women business leaders who figure in the Forbes list.
