DCB bank inaugurates first Aadhar based ATM in Odisha

India’s first Aadhar-based ATM was today launched in Odisha by the DCB Bank, a new generation private sector bank. The bank launched an exciting new technology that accepts the customer’s Aadhar number and fingerprint impression in addition to the usual debit card.

The launch of Aadhar based ATM also coincides with the inauguration of five new branches in the state at Bijipur, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Palla and Pathar Pada.

Speaking on the occasion, DCB bank managing director & CEO Murali M Natrajan said, “We are delighted to launch India’s first Aadhar-based ATM in Odisha.He said, “Odisha is a very important market for us and the new ATMs and branches are a testimony to our commitment to the state.

“DCB bank’s head agri & inclusive banking Narendranath Mishra said with the inauguration of five new branches the number of DCB bank branches in the state has gone up to 21. The bank offers courteous and customer-friendly services, he said and announced the launch of DCB car loan for customers in Odisha.”
