17 killed by lightning in Odisha

At least 17 persons were killed and over 12 persons injured in lightning in separate incidents in Odisha Wednesday afternoon.

In the first incident, three persons were killed in lightning on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar while four persons were killed when lightning struck them at two different places in Kendrapada district.

In Ganjam district, four persons were killed while in Bhadrak district, two persons and in in Mayurbhanj district, two persons died and two others seriously injured when lightning struck them.
