Ajit Jogi announces formation of new party

Former Chhattisgarh Chief minister Ajit Jogi Monday announced to float a new party. Releasing his party’s declaration, he said on coming to power, his party will make Chhattisgarh, a tax free state. Today he convened a public meeting in his native place Marwahi in Bilaspur district.

Addressing the meeting he targeted ruling BJP government as well as opposition Congress. He said his party will fight against poverty, unemployment and hunger.

In the meeting he invited suggestions from his supporters over the name of new party and its symbol.

Raising a banner of revolt last week, senior congress leader Ajit Jogi had said that he had no choice but to quit Congress.
